So ive been wanting to upgrade my audio system for quite some time. HDMI has started to creep in and my current receiver has naught and it makes me sad. Also ive had this sytem for about 6 years or so and to keep my geek cred up it would be nice to upgrade the whole system to current standards. I basicly just want something that will supersonic the shit out of my face. Everything is currently Pioneer and has served me well for quite some time.This time around im gonna mix it up a bit with an Onkyo receiver and Polk speakers to smashdify ears into dimension X.

Quite an investment actually about a grand total. But doable if I get it piece by piece over time starting with the receiver. I mean the receiver alone will power my current speakers and TV much better until I can get the rest so its a good starting point.
