So I made the move to wordpress and thus far it is pretty damn awesome! Postnuke and old ideji wil be archived and set to rest. Good riddance really. Now maybe I can get more hits/comments as wordpress is really easy for google to spider. Im kind of excited to post random shit again.

Cheap mans 10.2 surround sound
Ive been experimenting with multi room audio on the cheap lately and have been looking into network solutions. I have my pc with decent speakers in zee office and my surround sound setup in the living room which are both network connected. So why not find some way to sync up the audio so it sounds like its one big stereo. At first I tried doing it the lazy mans way by pressing play on both comps at the same time but the lag was too much and it never got in sync. I needed something that would compensate for the network lag and constantly keep the audio synced up. I found some software called Bass Network Player which did exactly that. Works well enough has a client and server end and did what I wanted basicly made it sound like one giant audio system. I have yet to crank it due to the neighbors and them sleeping but I will this weekend. only downfall to it is that you can only queue up one song meh! so you cant load a whole playlist and have that synced up. Id like to have something that would take my whole winamp playlist and sync it up over the network. Until then its one song at a time which is still pretty cool to hear. Just gotta keep on playing 2 hour mix sets so I dont have to constantly keep changing the tracks. Cheap asses 10.2 surround sound pretty much.
Sappy asian chick flicks
Just watched Densha Otoko (train man) last night which is a true story about a 22 year old Japanese otaku who cluelessly delves into the strange world of dating for the first time. Like any true nerd he consults an internet forum for advice and the story kinda goes from there. I thought it was pretty good kept me entertained anyhow. I still am not quite sure why I like to watch asian chick flicks (no homo) but damn it I cant get enough of them *shame face* movies like My sassy girl or Josee, the Tiger and the Fish or Crying out love in the center of the world for some reason escapes me as to why I actually sit there and watch them without a blink. Ira doesnt even much like watching them with me, so I usually sit there and watch them by myself like the huge nerd that I am. Its a mystery that will only be solved by watching alot more asian chick flicks. My masculinity is still in tact along with all these drama flicks I still get in more then my fair share samurai/ninja/kung fu blood and guts action flicks to compensate.
lost in the land of music
Im currently in a music void right now. Im at that point where im ready for something new to bring me into another world of sound but thus far have come up empty handed. Indie/experimental rock is starting to get a bit old hat and is edging its way into the giant abyss of “music that I used to listen to” which is dark and endlessly deep and often times recycled. My music taste kinda changes or for lack of a better term evolves/devolves every so often. Its about that point in time where I randomly download some album from the depths of the internet that smacks me in the face and makes me its beeyotch thus starting a chain of research endeavors which involves kinetic sound wave reproduction analysis (google searches, forum postings) pointing to similar sounding stuff. Ive tried listening to countless random albums and havent been hit yet. I think I may have reached a point where im over saturated with access to music and am just a null value of nothingness. Im sure it will come at some point every other progression point seems to come out of nowhere ill just sit back and wait until then.

So I randomly created a forum for my friends and friends of friends recently called mechazoid. At first I didnt think it was going to take off as nothing in the past has worked when it comes to getting peoples to communicate amongst each other in a semi orderly fashion. It has since taken off and become a decent place to waste time with irl and internet dude pals. It is invite only so if you aint down with mah posse you cannot taste the wonders that is mechazoid! Its ran on the vanilla platform which is fan fucking tasticly working how I want it to with the help of the community and some sweet plugins. All in all a success.
